Welcome
The Catawbans is a senior men's organization serving the Catawba and Lincoln County areas of Lake Norman. Our purpose is to provide an organization that allows for networking among retired and semi-retired men with similar interests and circumstances; provide an opportunity for men new to the region to make acquaintances and become assimilated into the area through activities of common interest; to share experiences with people you enjoy spending time with in activities you enjoy; to share expertise with others; to find and pursue new interests and hobbies.
We had a great turnout of 99 for the Welcome to Spring picnic on April 16th. The next event will be a Member Appreciation Day in mid-July. Stay tuned for the details.
After welcoming a great group of new members, we still have nine openings in the membership. We have had some members step up to lead or form new interest groups. It's a great way to get involved and meet new friends.
The Board is working to bring a great Catawban experience to the membership. If there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to contact me or any Board member. Let us have a fun and a safe 2025 year!
